L'argent des autres

L'Argent des autres is a 1978 French drama directed by Christian de Chalonge. Adapted from a novel by Nancy Markham, the screenplay was written by Pierre Dumayet together with the director. The cast is led by Jean-Louis Trintignant and Catherine Deneuve, alongside Claude Brasseur and Michel Serrault.

The film was received with distinction in France. It took the Louis Delluc Prize and, at the César Awards, won both Best Film and Best Director, while also earning nominations for Best Supporting Actor, Best Screenplay, Dialogue or Adaptation, and Best Editing.
