Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer, a 2024 black comedy, was written, directed and co-produced by Tolga Karaçelik, marking his English-language debut. A co-production between the United States and Turkey, the film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024 and opened in American theaters on April 4, 2025.

The story follows Keane, a writer struggling with writer's block whose marriage is wearing thin, who decides to seek inspiration from a retired serial killer in order to write about murders. Steve Buscemi stars as the killer Kollmick, John Magaro as Keane, and Britt Lower as his wife Suzie, with Ward Horton, Olli Haaskivi and Sydney Cole Alexander rounding out the cast.
