The Last Round

The Last Round (original Italian title: Il conto è chiuso) is a 1976 Italian crime film directed by Stelvio Massi. Written by screenwriter Piero Regnoli, the film was shot in Italian and runs for approximately 91 minutes.

The cast features legendary Argentine boxer Carlos Monzón alongside Luc Merenda, Mariangela Giordano, Gianni Dei, Giampiero Albertini, Luisa Maneri, Leonora Fani, Mario Brega and Nello Pazzafini. Released in Germany under the title In den Klauen der Mafia, the film stands as an example of the Italian crime cinema of the 1970s.
