The Target

The Target (Persian: هدف) is a 1975 Iranian action-thriller film. Directed by Iraj Ghaderi from a screenplay by Alireza Davood Nejad, the film was produced by Nematollah Rafiei. Shot in Persian, it belongs to the wave of popular commercial productions that characterized Iranian cinema in the mid-1970s. The cast includes Ahmad Qadakchian, Farhad Hamidi, Rafi Madadkar and Iran Ghaderi, performers familiar to audiences of the period. Running about 97 minutes, the picture combines the action and suspense elements typical of pre-revolutionary Iranian popular filmmaking of its era.
