Stab in the Back

Stab in the Back (original Persian title: Posht o khanjar) is a 1977 Iranian crime film directed by Iraj Ghaderi from a screenplay by Saeed Motalebi. The cast includes Pouri Banayi, Füruzan, Bahman Mofid and Farhad Hamidi.

The film holds particular significance as the final screen appearance of Füruzan, one of the most prominent female stars of Iranian cinema. Made in the years leading up to the Iranian Revolution, it stands as an example of the crime genre within the popular Persian-language cinema of that era.
