Yiğit Kirazcı — Biography

Yiğit Kirazcı was born on 17 August 1983 in Istanbul, the only child of an accounting-manager mother and an outdoor-advertising father whose family originates from Burhaniye. After Koç School he graduated in 2005 from Bilgi University's Faculty of Communication, Department of Advertising; during his university years he modeled and appeared in commercials, then trained at the Ümit Çırak Modern Acting Workshop before turning to acting. He made his screen debut in 2007 as Teoman in the series Son Tercih, and after Mavi Kelebekler and Güllerin Savaşı reached a wide audience with the lead role of Tuna Ertürk in Seviyor Sevmiyor (2016).

He went on to appear in Yüzleşme, the Netflix series 50m2, and the film Aşkın Kıyameti, and joined the cast of Leyla: Hayat... Aşk... Adalet... in 2024, but became best known for playing Rüzgar Yener in Kızılcık Şerbeti. He left that series in 2024; a possible return was reported in late 2025, but he ultimately decided against it. In early 2026 he joined the series Sahtekarlar as İbrahim, though the show itself was cancelled early over falling ratings, ending with its 22nd episode on 14 March 2026.
