Yüksel Arıcı — Biography
Yüksel Arıcı was born on 7 March 1963 in Adana; after finishing his schooling at Adana Boys' High School, he made his stage debut with the Adana City Theatre in 1981. He moved into film in 1987 with Karınca Katarı and, until 1991, acted with private theatre companies across Adana, Ankara and Istanbul.
From 1991 onward he worked steadily across television and cinema. The turning point of his career arrived with his performance as Pala in the 2003 series Kurtlar Vadisi, a role that made him widely recognisable and remains the one most associated with his name today. He later played Ahmet in Cennet Mahallesi, Şahin in Hacı, Tufan in Sürgün Hayatlar and Hasip Ağa in Kurt Kanunu, besides taking parts in Sıla, Uçurum and Kayıp. He portrayed Vehbi in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz from 2015 to 2017, and returned to film in 2025 with Dayı: Bir Adamın Hikâyesi 2.
