Zeynep Çamcı — Biography

Zeynep Çamcı was born on 11 December 1986 in Bodrum; she studied radio, television and cinema at Istanbul University and went on to a master's degree in the same field. Her career began in 2007 with the short Yıldız Tornavida, and after a guest turn in Gece Gündüz she became a recognizable face through her parts in the second and third Recep İvedik films. She then took on substantial roles in Leyla ile Mecnun, the short-lived Emir'in Yolu, and Beni Böyle Sev.

In 2013 she won both the Golden Orange award for Meryem and a prize from APAN Star Awards, and the following year played Havva in Deliha. In the years after she moved across formats and platforms with Eğlendirme Dairesi (2015), Seviyor Sevmiyor, Kara Yazı, Adı Zehra, Terapist and Güzel Günler, and both wrote and directed her own film, Feride, in 2020. After her marriage to Serhat Bayram, more recent years have found her working on Arap Kadri with Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, on İki Ağaç with Murat Yıldırım and Eva Green, and preparing an ATV project.
