Atılgan Gümüş — Biography

Born on 3 July 1976 in Istanbul, Atılgan Gümüş studied at the Department of Theatre of Istanbul University State Conservatory and also took vocal lessons, later performing as a soloist on the album of the Casablanca musical.

He made his television debut in 2000 with Yedi Numara and went on to appear in series including Bıçak Sırtı, Benden Baba Olmaz, Yalancı Romantik, Papatyam and Beni Böyle Sev, reaching a wide audience as Cemil in the ATV series Kırgın Çiçekler. He played Master Sergeant Mustafa Şahin in the 2016 film Dağ 2. In 2019 he took the role of the Mongol commander Böke in Kuruluş: Osman, and afterward joined the cast of the historical series Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu. In 2024 he appeared in the film Tur Rehberi and played Şaver in the series Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi.

Atılgan Gümüş divorced Verda Gümüş in 2020 after sixteen years of marriage.
