Eva Dedova — Biography

Born in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan, on 22 February 1992, Eva Dedova is a Kazakhstani-Turkish actress of Russian and German descent who grew up between Kazakhstan and Turkey. She trained in the Radio, Television, Film and Theatre department at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, and speaks Russian and English besides Turkish.

Her acting path began with the BKM comedy group and continued on the show Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar; she became known playing Öykü Akyol in the final season of Kavak Yelleri in 2011, then took a role in Yalan Dünya the following year before drawing wider notice in 2013 as Meryem opposite Aras Bulut İynemli in Mahmut ile Meryem.

After Kurt Seyit ve Şura in 2014 and a part in the Kanal D series Babam ve Ailesi (2016), she played Victoria in Mehmetçik Kut'ül Amare (2018), joined the international production Rise of Empires: Ottoman, centered on the founding of the Ottoman Empire, in 2020, and returned to the big screen with the 2023 film Mitat.
