Filiz Ahmet — Biography

Filiz Ahmet, born on 15 April 1981 in Skopje, is a Macedonian-Turkish film, television and theatre actress. She is the granddaughter of theatre artist Lütfü Seyfullah; she graduated from the Theatre Department of the Skopje Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 and performed at the Skopje Turkish Theatre.

Turkish audiences first came to know her as Zarife in the series Elveda Rumeli (2007–2009), but her real fame came with the character Nigar Kalfa in Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011). She went on to act in the series Ruhumun Aynası (2014) and Hayat Şarkısı (2016), and joined the cast of Balkan Ninnisi in 2022. On the big screen she has appeared in films such as Aşk Tutulması (2008), Kadın İşi: Banka Soygunu (2014), Sonsuz Aşk (2017), Görevimiz Tatil (2018) and Bal Kaymak (2018), while continuing her stage work at the Skopje Turkish Theatre.
