İdris Nebi Taşkan — Biography

İdris Nebi Taşkan was born in Istanbul on August 18, 1997. Before turning to acting he played professional basketball, moving into a screen career after his sports background. He had his first acting role in 2014 in the period drama Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Magnificent Century), then appeared in Poyraz Karayel and landed his first leading role in Arkadaşlar İyidir.

In 2017 he reached a wide audience playing Yasin in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları on Star TV, alongside Nazan Kesal and Deniz Baysal. He went on to play Civan Yılmaz in Zalim İstanbul (2019) and the lead role of Rüzgar Akcan in the romantic comedy Baht Oyunu (2021); in 2023 he returned to screens as Lieutenant Aras Güneri in the series Al Sancak.

Taşkan remains one of the recognizable names of Turkey's younger generation of actors, continuing his career across both television and film.
