Murat Serezli

Murat Serezli — Biography

Murat Serezli came to the screen first as a visual-effects and animation specialist and then as the face of advertising campaigns, before settling into acting and hosting. Remembered for Colonel Halil İbrahim Kopuz in Savaşçı and Lieutenant Colonel Veysel in Dağ 2, he signed in 2026 with ATV's period series Aşk ve Taht.

His first phase was behind the camera. While studying architecture he took up 3D animation and programming; for about 15 years he made on-air identities for television channels, produced commercial effects, and directed sitcoms and promotional films. In the second phase advertising brought him attention: four Profilo commercials and Axess's Inspector Kemal character each won a Kristal Elma award. The third phase is acting; since 1999 he has appeared in cinema, series and sitcoms. Av Mevsimi and Devrim Arabaları raised his profile with dramatic performances, and Evli ve Çocuklu, Kirpi, Gelecekten Bir Gün, Senin Hikayen, Seni Seviyorum Adamım and Deliormanlı also feature in his filmography. As a host he presented İyi Beslen Mutlu Yaşa, the atv quiz show Kapanmadan Kazan for 50 episodes, and 112 Acil Çağrı on TRT 1.

In March 2026 he joined Arka Sokaklar as retired chief prosecutor Fevzi Kılıç; in July he left the show for Aşk ve Taht. He is the son of the actors Nevra and Metin Serezli.
