Şebnem Hassanisoughi — Biography

Şebnem Hassanisoughi is a Turkish film, theatre and television actress, born on 7 December 1985 in Istanbul. Her father is an Iranian Azerbaijani. After studying theatre at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, she completed a master's degree in film and drama at Kadir Has University.

She first appeared on screen in 2007 with the series Sessiz Gemiler; after series such as Tatar Ramazan (2013) and Poyraz Karayel (2015), she became widely known for her role as Eftelya in Vatanım Sensin (2016). She acted in the films Geriye Kalan (2012), Bulantı (2015) and Kelebekler (2018), and played Şebnem Sualp in the series Yabani (2023). She appeared in the film O da Bir Şey mi in 2025 and took on the role of Aylin Borokay in the series Doktor: Başka Hayatta in 2026.
