Raid (Baskın) (translated)

Baskın is a 1977 Turkish film directed by Atıf Yılmaz. The screenplay was written by Türker İnanoğlu, Fuat Özlüer and Erdoğan Tünaş, with İnanoğlu also serving as producer; the film was made by Erler Film. Cüneyt Arkın and Necla Nazır star in the leading roles, joined by Ekrem Bora, Kadir Savun, Nubar Terziyan and Pervin Par. Combining crime, adventure and drama elements, the color film features Arkın as Poyraz Murat, Nazır as Nilgün and Bora as Chief Commissioner Şahin.

The film also holds the distinction of being İlyas Salman's first motion picture appearance, in which he played the character Yunus. Shot by cinematographer Çetin Gürtop, Baskın was released in Turkish cinemas in October 1977.
