Two Angry Men (İki Kızgın Adam) (translated)

Two Angry Men is a 1976 Turkish-Iranian co-production directed by Ertem Göreç from a screenplay by Erdoğan Tünaş, starring Kadir İnanır, Perihan Savaş, Nasır Melek and Bilal İnci.

The story follows two friends on opposite sides of the law. Murat, a policeman's son, is raised with the support of commissioner Kemal after his father's death. Years later their paths cross again: Murat has become a mafia boss, while Kemal wages a relentless campaign of raids to dismantle the organization. When the syndicate concludes that killing Kemal is the only solution, the revelation that Kemal is Murat's childhood friend splits the gang. Murat is forced to shield Kemal from his own men, while Kemal is torn between doing his duty and protecting a criminal. The film blends action and drama as the bond between the two men is tested to breaking point.
