Travelers of Destiny (Kader Yolcuları) (translated)

Kader Yolcuları ("Travelers of Fate") is a 1975 Turkish-Iranian co-production written and directed by Orhan Elmas. Produced by Sil Sezer Film and running 75 minutes, the emotional drama belongs to the classic Yeşilçam era of Turkish cinema.

The plot centers on Ruhan, a woman who rises from a miserable existence to sudden fame as a singer, and Memduh, the man behind her success, who is entangled in shady dealings and obsessively in love with her. When his unrequited feelings turn possessive, he keeps her almost like a prisoner, until a concert she performs inside a prison sets in motion a turn of events that changes her fate. The cast is led by Perihan Savaş and Serdar Gökhan, alongside Bilâl İnci and Reza Fazeli.
