La Boum 2

La Boum 2 is a 1982 French teen romantic comedy directed by Claude Pinoteau, who co-wrote the screenplay with Danièle Thompson. A sequel to the 1980 hit La Boum, it stars Sophie Marceau alongside Claude Brasseur and Brigitte Fossey, following a teenage girl who falls in love and grapples with the question of making love for the first time.

Produced by Gaumont, the film matched its predecessor's commercial success, drawing more than four million admissions in France. In 1983, Sophie Marceau won the César Award for Most Promising Actress, while the film also received nominations for Vladimir Cosma's music and Denise Grey's supporting performance. The music group Cook da Books became famous in many countries thanks to their soundtrack song "Your Eyes".
