Le téléphone rose is a 1975 French romantic comedy drama directed by Édouard Molinaro. The film stars Mireille Darc, Pierre Mondy and Michael Lonsdale, with André Valardy, Lucienne Legrand and Robert Dalban among the supporting players. The screenplay was written by Francis Veber, who would go on to become one of the best-known figures in French comedy cinema. Shot at the Billancourt Studios in Paris, the production featured sets designed by art director François de Lamothe. Made in French, the picture runs about ninety-five minutes and blends romantic and comedic elements in the manner typical of French popular filmmaking of the period.
