I Never Like Sundays (Pazarları Hiç Sevmem) (translated)

I Never Like Sundays is a Turkish drama film written and directed by Rezzan Tanyeli, released in 2012. Shooting took place in Istanbul and in the Aegean towns of Tire, Ödemiş, Gökçen and Birgi.

The story follows Oğuz, whose father lies in hospital; he is shaken when Ayşe, the woman he has secretly loved for years, marries someone else. Meanwhile Deniz is a lonely woman who has lost her job, been abandoned, and given up on life. The two, each going through a difficult period, meet by chance and begin to heal one another, opening the door to a fresh start for both.

The cast includes Melisa Sözen, Edhem Dirvana, Ezgi Mola, Umut Kurt, Ayşen Gruda, Hasibe Eren and Barış Bağcı. The score was composed by Pasquale Catalano, with a song written for the film by Nil Karaibrahimgil, and Florent Herry served as cinematographer.
