Ceren Moray — Biography
Ceren Moray was born on 5 June 1985 in Diyarbakır, the only child of a Kurdish father from the city and a Turkish mother from Kastamonu; the family moved to Istanbul a few years later. Drawn to theatre from an early age, she trained for a time at Pera Fine Arts before entering the Theatre Department of Haliç University, graduating in 2009. She began acting in 2003 with the series Serseri Aşıklar, followed by roles in Dayı, Nefes Nefese and Doktorlar, before becoming known from 2007 onward as Su in Kavak Yelleri.
She reached wider audiences with İşler Güçler (2012) and as Efsun in O Hayat Benim (2014), and appeared in the films Bi Küçük Eylül Meselesi and Yok Artık, then in Olaylar Olaylar and El Değmemiş Aşk (2016). She played Azra in Avlu (2018), Zeynep in Öğretmen (2020) and Hayriye in Kirli Sepeti (2023). In 2024 she joined the series Uzak Şehir as Meryem; in 2026 she left that series for Star TV's Tuzlu Kahve.
