Özge Özberk — Biography

Born Nalan Özge Özberk on August 13, 1976, in İstanbul, she trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center before her ties with the school ended; young, she joined the BKM troupe, performing in Otogargara and, separately, in Sen Hiç Ateşböceği Gördün mü?. Her screen career opened in 1989 with Bizimkiler; by 2000, after roles in Bir Demet Tiyatro and Şaban Askerde (1993), she starred for the first time in Yıldız Tepe, and four years later broke through as Genç Yurdanur in Çemberimde Gül Oya, winning Best Supporting Actress at the 1st Beyaz İnci TV Awards.

That same year, playing Ceku in Cem Yılmaz's G.O.R.A, she became a household name, then played Birgül in Babam ve Oğlum, Nazlı in Kırık Kanatlar, and Münevver in the Nazım Hikmet film Mavi Gözlü Dev. She took a role in N'apcaz Şimdi (2012) from Özgür Yapımlar, the company she and brother Özgür Özberk founded. She played Deniz in Kalbimdeki Deniz from 2016, took up Ceku again for Arif V 216 in 2018, and stayed on screen in Bir Annenin Günahı, then Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi, Dilek Taşı and Takıntılar (2024); in 2026 she played Ceku once more in GORA4GORA.
