The Song of Our Village (Bizim Köyün Şarkısı) (translated)

The Song of Our Village is a 2018 Turkish comedy and family film directed by Tuğçe Soysop, written by Onur Ümit and produced by BKM Film. The 104-minute film was released on 30 March 2018, with shooting taking place in the Yeşilyurt district of Muğla.

The story follows Çınar, a boy living in Istanbul who dreams of entering a music competition. When his father decides the family will move back to their village, Çınar is forced to adapt to a new life alongside his sister Zeynep. Through the friendships he builds in the village, he discovers the meaning of true companionship while still searching for a way to reach his dream. Güneş Sayın and Tansel Öngel lead the cast, with child actors Berat Efe Parlar, Esat Polat Güler, Dora Dalgıç and Eda Döğer, and Doğa Rutkay also appearing.
