Peak (Doruk) (translated)

Doruk is a 1985 Turkish film directed by Melih Gülgen and written by Mehmet Aydın. Orhan Gencebay plays Orhan, a composer, while Cüneyt Arkın plays Captain Cemil, a truck driver; the two close friends actually make their living by selling maps to treasure hunters. Their arrangement is shaken when they cross paths with Çiğdem, a beautiful young woman, and both friends fall for her, turning them into rivals. Trouble deepens when a dangerous treasure hunter they have swindled sets out after them, and the pair must fight to protect their friendship and their lives. Müge Akyamaç also appears in the film, which combines action, adventure and melodrama in the manner of Turkish popular cinema of the period.
