One of the Houses (Evlerden Biri) (translated)

Evlerden Biri (One of the Houses) is a Turkish drama series adapted from Orhan Kemal's 1966 novel of the same name. Produced by Koliba Film, it premiered on Star TV on August 1, 2012, with a screenplay by Hakan Aksun and Müjdan Kayserli and music composed by Fahir Atakoğlu.

Starring Ceyda Ateş, Özgür Çevik, Barış Aytaç and Şemsi İnkaya, the series was filmed in Üsküdar-Salacak. It marked Ceyda Ateş's first leading role, taken right after Adını Feriha Koydum, for which she even changed her hair color. After initially strong ratings began to decline, the series ended early with its 13th episode, broadcast on October 29, 2012.
