The Time of the Heart (Kalbin Zamanı) (translated)

The Time of the Heart is a 2004 Turkish film produced as a co-production between Turkey and Bulgaria. Directed by Ali Özgentürk from a screenplay by Onur Ünlü, with music composed by Attila Özdemiroğlu, it premiered on December 10, 2004.

The story is framed by a man recounting a deeply unsettling event he witnessed years earlier, leading back to the 1950s, when four young people meet at a hotel at the heart of the era's social life. Their paths cross again at the same hotel in their fifties, this time marked by a mysterious murder that claims one of them. Nearly half a century later, an unexpected development finally brings the long-hidden secret to light. The film stars Hülya Avşar, Oktay Kaynarca, and Tayanç Ayaydın.
