Le Marginal

Le Marginal is a 1983 French crime and action film directed by Jacques Deray. Jean-Paul Belmondo stars as a police commissioner willing to do whatever it takes to bring down a drug trafficker. The screenplay is credited to Deray, Jean Vautrin and Jean Herman, with dialogue by Michel Audiard.

The film's score was composed by Ennio Morricone. Produced by StudioCanal, it became a major popular success in France upon release, drawing close to 5 million admissions. The cast also includes Tchéky Karyo and Henri Attal alongside Belmondo.
