Yunus Emre Yıldırımer — Biography

Yunus Emre Yıldırımer is a Turkish theatre, television and film actor of Arab descent, born on 5 February 1982 in Siirt. He completed his primary, middle and high school education in Diyarbakır before entering the Conservatory Department of Haliç University, from which he graduated. During his conservatory years he married Melisa Özge Yıldırımer, and around the same period he performed with the Fatih Municipality Theatre Company in numerous plays, including Kral Dairesi, Yanlışlıklar Komedyası and Tahir ile Zühre.

He began his screen career in 2007 with the series Hatırla Sevgili, followed by roles in Evimin Erkeği, Sardunya Sokağı and Kırık Kalpler - Ritmini Arayan.... In 2013 he gained wide recognition as Şinasi in Fatih Harbiye, sharing the lead with Kadir Doğulu and Neslihan Atagül, and the same year he played a teacher who travels to Senegal in the film Selam. From 2015 to 2021 he spent five years on ATV's long-running series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz as Alparslan Çakırbeyli. He also appeared in the feature films Somuncu Baba: Aşkın Sırrı and Bal Kaymak (2018). In 2021 he joined the series Teşkilat as Korkut, and in 2022 he played Emir Baykara in Adı Sevgi.
