Cahit Gök — Biography

Cahit Gök is a Turkish television and film actor best known for playing the young Kenan Birkan in Ezel and Fırat Demiralp in Hercai. Born on 7 October 1981 in the Yayladere district of Bingöl, he completed primary, middle and high school in Istanbul before studying economics at Anadolu University. He began his acting career in the 2008 film Fırtına as Cemal, a role that won him the Most Promising New Actor award at the 20th Ankara International Film Festival. He went on to play Yaşar Bulut in Bir Bulut Olsam (2009) and the young Kenan Birkan in Ezel (2010), the same year he appeared in the films Çalgı Çengi and Av Mevsimi. He continued with Güzel Çirkin and Sevdaluk in 2013, Urfalıyam Ezelden and Kuzu in 2014, and the comedy series Tutar mı Tutar as Ayhan in 2015. Between 2019 and 2021 he reached a wider audience as Fırat Demiralp/Aslanbey in Hercai. He continued his career in 2023 with Vefa in Gülcemal and Cemal Paşa in the film Atatürk 1881-1919, and has appeared in the series Son Kare since 2025 and Çirkin since 2026.
