Evren Duyal — Biography

Evren Duyal began her stage career in 1994, performing that same year with Bizim Tiyatro and Oraloğlu Tiyatrosu; from 1995 to 2007 she was both an actress and a manager at Tiyatro Ti. Between 1998 and 2001 she served as deputy department head at an Istanbul University fine arts faculty, teaching voice and acting, and also gave lessons at the Haliç University Conservatory, TED Istanbul College and the Oyak Bank Theatre Club. A founding member of the improv troupe İstanbulimpro in 2008, she still performs with it today, and currently teaches on-camera acting at Müjdat Gezen's arts center.

On screen she has appeared in films such as Leoparın Kuyruğu (1998), Turquaze (2009), Tereddüt (2016), Sardunya (2021) and Bağlılık Aslı (2019), and in 2017 an international festival named her best actress for her work in Hemşire. Her television roles range from Nesrin in Aşk-ı Memnu to Safiye in Dedemin Dolabı and Fadik in Aşk Laftan Anlamaz to Gönül in Servet; she also appeared in Seni Kalbime Sakladım (2022) and Gülcemal (2023).

Since 2024 she has starred as Güngör Seyhan in İnci Taneleri, and she is due back on screen as Mukaddes once the currently filming Sevdan Bir Ateş airs.
