Hababam Sınıfı (The Chaos Class) is a 1975 Turkish comedy directed by Ertem Eğilmez and produced by Arzu Film, with a screenplay by Umur Bugay adapted from Rıfat Ilgaz's 1957 novel of the same name. Because the book had long been blocked by censorship, the adaptation only came about in 1974, after Bugay softened the novel's social criticism and focused on the humorous side of school life.

Set in the unruly 6 Literature B class of the private Çamlıca High School, the film follows students who cheat on exams and skip classes for football matches as they clash with the newly appointed vice principal and history teacher Mahmut Hoca, known as Kel Mahmut. The film made Kemal Sunal a nationwide star as İnek Şaban, alongside Münir Özkul, Tarık Akan, Halit Akçatepe and Adile Naşit. A record-breaking box office hit that stayed in theaters for months, it launched a long-running series of sequels and remains a classic of Turkish cinema, still regularly broadcast on television.
