Dream and Reality (Hayal ve Gerçek) (translated)

Hayal ve Gerçek (Dream and Reality) is a 2007 Turkish television series produced by Süreç Film, blending comedy, fantasy and romance. Directed by Gürcan Mete Şener and written by Gani Müjde and Emre Bülbül, it stars Yasemin Hadivent, Cem Kılıç and Zuhal Yalçın.

The story follows Hayal and Gerçek, two young people who marry despite the objections of Gerçek's mother Badire and his sister Firuze. Their marriage proves stormy, and Hayal dies at a young age. While Gerçek struggles with the loss, supported by his friend Muzaffer, Badire sets out with Firuze's help to find him a new bride. The twist is that Hayal returns as a ghost, visible only to her husband, allowing the couple to experience the love they never fully shared in life, which also gives the series its fantastic and comic edge. It aired on ATV from 7 July to 1 September 2007 and ran for 9 episodes.
