The Wrong Path (Kötü Yol) (translated)

Kötü Yol is a 2012 Turkish drama series adapted from Orhan Kemal's novel of the same name. Produced by Gold Film and broadcast on Kanal D, it premiered on 26 July 2012 and concluded on 6 November 2012 after 13 episodes.

The leading roles were shared by Şükran Ovalı, Cansel Elçin and İlker Aksum, with a supporting cast that included Nursel Köse, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Ferit Kaya and Gökçe Akyıldız. Set in the Yeşilçam film world of the 1960s, the story follows Nuran, who flees from Adana to Istanbul to pursue her dream of becoming a movie star, weaving together themes of love, fame and family pressure.
