House of Angels (Melekler Evi)

House of Angels is a Turkish feature film directed by Ömer Kavur and released in 2000. The screenplay was written by Feride Çiçekoğlu, and the leading roles are played by Talat Bulut and Erkan Sever. Some critics have described the picture as one of the first serious attempts at film noir within Turkish cinema.

The film enjoyed notable recognition at the 37th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, held in 2000. Talat Bulut received the Best Actor award for his performance, while the production also collected prizes for Best Cinematography, Best Music and Best Second Film. These honours helped establish the film as one of the prominent Turkish productions of its year.
