Humayun Tebrizyan — Biography
Known by his stage name Homayun, Mohammad-Ali Tabrizian was an Iranian film actor born on 5 May 1937 in Mashhad. He worked prolifically through the busy production years of Iran's commercial cinema in the 1960s and 1970s, appearing in dozens of films, with his most memorable performances coming in Topoli and Soltan-e Ghalbha. His filmography also includes Iranian releases that reached Turkish screens under local titles, such as Adsız Cengaver, İki Esir, Güzel Şoför and İşportacı Kız. One source lists his birthplace as Tabriz, but his official record confirms Mashhad. He kept appearing on screen steadily into the early 1980s; he died 18 July 2025, aged 88.
