Osmanlı Tokadı is a historical Turkish television series produced by Duka Film that premiered on TRT 1 on April 13, 2013. Directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan from a script by Necati Şahin, Resul Ertaş, and Oktay Berber, the show ran for two seasons and concluded with its 37th episode on April 12, 2014.

The story centers on Doğan Bey and Şahin Bey, two sharply contrasting figures burning with the ambition of being the first to raise the Ottoman flag on the Byzantine walls during the Conquest of Istanbul; when they abandon their posts, the punishment handed down by Akşemseddin becomes the turning point of the narrative. Hasan Kaçan, originally cast as Doğan Bey, withdrew from the project after the sudden death of his brother Metin Kaçan. Starring Alper Kul, Vildan Atasever, Emir Benderlioğlu, Toprak Sağlam, and Pelin Akil, the series blended history with humorous and fantastical touches and stirred lively social media reaction from its very first day on air.
