Vildan Atasever — Biography

Vildan Atasever was born on July 26, 1981 in Bursa. She began amateur theatre at the age of 15; after high school she worked as a radio DJ for a while and turned to acting after meeting theatre actor Çetin Etili. She had her first on-screen experience in 2004 with the series Kurtlar Vadisi.

In 2005 she won the Golden Orange award for her role as Handan in Kutluğ Ataman's film İki Genç Kız, and in 2006 her role as Uğur in the film Kader earned her the Best Actress award at the 18th Ankara International Film Festival. She appeared in productions such as Bıçak Sırtı (2007), Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti (2008), Samanyolu (2009), Osmanlı Tokadı (2013) and Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem (2015). In 2017 she played Seyran in the series Klavye Delikanlıları, and in 2022 she portrayed head nurse Mine Yıldız in the series Kasaba Doktoru.

Atasever, who married actor İsmail Hacıoğlu in 2010, had a son in January 2026 from her relationship with musician Mehmet Erdem.
