Yanaşma

Yanaşma is a Turkish film directed by Duygu Sağıroğlu and released in 1973. Mehmet, taken as a boy into a village landlord's household as a lowly farmhand, has grown up resigned to his humble place. When the ağa's daughter Cano falls in love with him, he holds back, fearing her powerful father and seeing no future for a servant. Manipulated into believing that Cano loves another man, he is drawn into a scheme to abduct her, and only slowly learns that her heart has always been his. Cüneyt Arkın and Meral Zeren lead the cast, with Hayati Hamzaoğlu and Turgut Özatay completing it.
