Tuna Orhan — Biography

Tuna Orhan, born on 21 January 1966, is a Turkish stage, film and television actor. He took his first steps in acting as a child in 1982 at the Bakırköy İdil Abla Children's Theatre, later completing his training at the Acting Department of the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in 1992. After graduating he joined the Antalya State Theatre company, where he worked for roughly fifteen years before leaving in 2008 to concentrate on film and television work. Beyond acting on stage, he composed the music for around twenty-five plays, among them Gol Kralı Sait Hop Sait, Kelebekler Özgürdür, Şarkıcı and Abdülcanbaz.

His television career began with series such as Gurbetçiler, Tatlı Hayat, Yarım Elma and Sonradan Görme, and he reached wider audiences playing II. Abdülhamit in Elveda Rumeli. He went on to appear in productions including Körfez Ateşi, Azap Yolu, Deli Dolu, Gönülçelen, Hayata Beş Kala, Yalan Dünya, Yüksek Giriş, Sil Baştan, Hep Yek and Baraj, and played the character Servet in the 2015 series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz. On screen he has also featured in films such as The Magician, Memleket Meselesi, Çalgı Çengi and Annem. In 2025 he joined the cast of Gönül Dağı, where he plays the baklava-seller character Kahraman.
