Heartbreaker (Gönülçelen) (translated)

Gönülçelen is a Turkish television series blending drama, comedy and romance, produced by Asis Yapım. It premiered on ATV on February 26, 2010 and concluded with its 56th episode on June 24, 2011, spanning two seasons. The series is an adaptation of Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw's famous play Pygmalion, known worldwide through My Fair Lady.

The story follows Murat, a musician and music teacher from a wealthy Istanbul family, and Hasret, a free-spirited Romani girl from the city's poor neighborhoods, whose lives unexpectedly intertwine. Starring Tuba Büyüküstün and Cansel Elçin, the series became a ratings success in Turkey, regularly competing for the top spot against Hanımın Çiftliği, and Büyüküstün won a 2010 RTGD award for her portrayal of Hasret.
