The Chaos Class in the Military (Hababam Sınıfı Askerde)

Hababam Sınıfı Askerde (The Chaos Class in the Military) is a Turkish comedy film directed by Ferdi Eğilmez from a screenplay by Kemal Kenan Ergen. Released in January 2005 and produced by Fida Film, it continues the modern revival of the classic Hababam Sınıfı series adapted from Rıfat Ilgaz's beloved stories.

The plot follows the students of Hababam Class, whose endless mischief has become unbearable even though their peers have long settled into jobs and adult life. Desperate to rid the school of these overaged troublemakers, headmaster Deli Bedri finds the solution in sending them off to military service, and one morning military police show up at the school gates.

Army discipline, however, proves no match for the gang. Their antics soon exhaust their commanders, and tensions rise with the rival battalion stationed nearby — which turns out to be made up entirely of women, setting the stage for further chaos. Mehmet Ali Erbil plays Deli Bedri and Şafak Sezer appears as Casus Ercüment, alongside Hülya Avşar, Halit Akçatepe, Memet Ali Alabora, Kerem Alışık and Peker Açıkalın.
