Jacques Boudet — Biography
Jacques Boudet was born on 15 April 1935 in Montpellier. Over a stage and screen career spanning more than forty years, he became especially known for his long-running collaboration with director Robert Guédiguian.
Boudet appeared in Luc Besson's Nikita (1990), Claude Chabrol's Comedy of Power (2006) and Volker Schlöndorff's Un amour de Swann (1984); he played the poet Guillaume Apollinaire in Waiting for the Moon, and also appeared in the 1995 adaptation of Les Misérables and in Buisson ardent.
Jacques Boudet died on 15 July 2024 in Montpellier, the city of his birth.
