Romantik

Romantik is a 2007 Turkish film written and directed by Sinan Çetin. The friendship of two close companions, Gökhan and Ömer, is tested when both fall for the enigmatic Yasemin, so silent that those around her think she is mute. After Ömer becomes caught up in a murder and is forced to flee the country, the narrative gradually shifts to the point of view of the antagonist, giving the film an unusual structure. Okan Bayülgen and Teoman share the leads. It is one of Sinan Çetin's works weaving love, betrayal and crime together.
